Free Basketball Gym In New York

Karate Karate Andalusia has always ...

I carry with me ... and where it goes with me everywhere I go, as he once told her one day me and my own personality is shaped by it.
seems like yesterday, when only ten years, I started practicing Karate. I am proud to remember my first steps into the fascinating world Martial Arts.

There was more, or anything else in my youth, the studios and karate. In those years, my great friend and brother Emilio, who was to spend most of my time (lasting memories dear friend), hours and hours every day studying and training, both within and outside the dojo. Early on in our school and then in different clubs, in which we spent years of hard training, which are unthinkable today for its strength, always the work of great masters. We had one thing in mind, we liked and uneasy rather than the martial arts. One of our biggest distractions, was to emulate the great masters and players of the time (Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Van Danma, Steven Seagal, ...), also Emilio and I were big fans and followers of the monthly issues of magazines (dojo, Budokan, Tenth Dan Black Belt, ... .)

A teenager influenced by the discipline and respect these values, instilled by the Karate, where over the years, had a single horizon and purpose, be able to get the coveted Black Belt and expertise in the fighting arts .
The library and video library Emilio was impressive, not missing any masterpiece of martial arts, well-known authors and great teachers, but any contribution was well received in such careful martial thickened library year after year.
the years went by, the practice was not limited to the dojo (this rule also changed over the years), or just to practice our martial art, karate, but we were devoted to investigate and study the entire control system that could provide knowledge and skill in battle.
After the passage of many years, my friend, Emilio, was devoted more to the theory and study in depth the true Budo Japanese, influenced by our years of practice in the art of Aikido, with the great teacher Toshiaki Higassio. I on the contrary, either for my profession and / or my personality, I took another path in martial practice, always looking for efficiency as the end of my technique, discarding everything that I was, to my knowledge, skills, and physical attributes useful for my requirements martial in a possible real situation of the street and / or professional.
From a young fan of contact sports, this created in me, the delight in daily practice for years, getting great achievements in the sporting level, and also my training in various tactical defense systems, created in me a great involvement and would involve me, to its continued practice. But I never forgot, or I quit karate. I always thought my roots and trunk, in my first steps and source in my practice of martial arts.

All this experience has changed my view of the martial arts and fighting in general, and of course my way to understand and apply my Karate. Due to the large contribution of techniques from other arts, sports and styles. I believe that open minds and to engage in serious study, not only karate, but the whole fighting style, enriches the person, and of course, their knowledge, providing a practical and full study.
should not be typecast training at a style, closed and locked, all that was not of the style we practice and defend tooth and nail, as the best and the absolute truth. We would not see beyond our noses if we act in this form. Unfortunately in many dojos, continues to be taught the basic form, the first step, the most superficial layer, arguing that there is the true Karate, when this is just an excuse to mask the lack of technique and depth of true knowledge .

not want to look and study in other disciplines. Without opening the horizons, and see reality as it is, from another point of view, we can say is part of a mutual conformity between teachers and students.
Karate, like everything in life should always be evolving and enriched with all that help you make stronger and more effective. Not forgetting why it originated and forged with blows. This reason that many today, have forgotten various reasons, interest and conveniences.
not to open the mind and in-depth practice other forms of struggle, I never left my mind of man Karate. As I told you before, from my childhood with my friend Emily and even today I remain karateka always ... forever. David Vallejo
